Godfather reveals Trika retirement



Egyptian coach Hassan Shehata has revealed that Al Ahly skipper Mohammed Abo Trika will retire and end his career with football after the final of the African Champions League.

The Head coach of the Qatari club Al Arabi said that Trika talked with him at length about the decision to retire.

Shehata started working with Trika since 2005 when he took charge of the Egyptian National team.

” Trika is convinced about his decision, despite the fact that I begged him to stay ” Shehata said to supersport.com.

” Mohammed is satisfied with his legacy at Al Ahly and the Egyptian National team , but I find him still young and sharp and know that he can play for at least more two years more” Shehata added

Shehata known as the Godfather asked Al Ahly board and The Egyptian National team to woo the 34 year old player back.
