Bradley safe for now

Azmi Megahed of the Egyptian Football Association has assured all fans that they will not axe Bob Bradley as the head coach of Egypt.

Megahed revealed that everybody knew that Bradley worked in a tough atmosphere especially after the Egyptian League was cancelled. He went on to say " we will therefore not be prejudge and will study the report he gives us on the game we lost. I personally don’t want him gone because we still have the World Cup qualifiers and he did quite well in those".

SuperSport.com talked with few Egyptian fans and asked them about their opinion on the cause of their National teams ouster from the Afcon. Their responses varied,

Mohammed Salah (33) said " I am very sad , we will not go to the Afcon for a second time in row and that is a huge disappointment . However Bob Bradley is not 100% responsible. I think when the League gets back again the National team will be more stronger"

Meanwhile Basem Sayed ( 20 ) said " Bradley made a big mistake when he called up Emad Moteb for the game. He simply was not ready despite scoring the only goal for Egypt. He was very bad otherwise. Its especially frustrating when he had players like Ahmed Abd Al Zaher of Enppi at his disposal . He is very good attacker and that's exactly what we needed"

Mahmoud Ali (30) was at Tahrir Square where the Egyptian revolution started when SuperSport spoke with him and he said " We are too busy dealing with political things and have failed to nourish our National team our source of joy and pride. Hopefully they can get well again"

Isalm Nadi (28) added saying " I am optimistic that we will win Afcon again. Right now we need to focus on Brazil. Egypt is on the top of the group after beating Mozambique and Guinea. All we need is some hard work "

Mohammed Kadri (32) was more critical saying " Bradley called only one player from Haras Al Hedoud and they finished on top of the league and have stars like Ahmed Eid. Bradley also needs to make peace with Amr Zaki."
