Shehata still gives Bradley 'thumbs up'

Hassan Shehata the former coach of Egypt despite being sad at Egypts ouster from Afcon 2013, said that what happened for the Pharaohs was to be expected.

Shehata told SuperSport.com that the Pharaohs must recover and return to their former glory as a giant in Africa.

" Egypt won three AFCON titles in row and it is normal to have a drop , I just pray they recover as soon as possible" he said.

"You can look at Italy , they won the 2006 WC in Germany then they dropped from the map and now they are in the final of EURO 2012" Shehata added

"I don’t want the EFA board to axe Bob Bradley , he started to build a very good team and they must continue to help him.Bradley is doing very well in the WC qualifiers and I think he can do it and take Egypt to Brazil 2014" he concluded.

On the other hand Azmey Megahed the EFA spokesman told SuperSport.com that the board will meet Sunday and they will decide what will happen with Bradley.
