Palancas Negras já em Luanda



A selecção angolana de futebol, Palancas Negras, desembarcou hoje (quarta-feira), em Luanda, após ter sido eliminada, logo na primeira fase do Campeonato Africano das Nações (CAN2013), que decorre na África do Sul.

Os Palancas Negras perderam domingo último, em Port Elizabeth, frente a Cabo Verde, por 1-2, e foram arredados da competição que ainda cumpre a fase de grupos.

Em três jogos, o onze nacional averbou duas derrotas (0-2 com a África do Sul) e (1-2 com Cabo Verde) e um empate diante do Marrocos (0-0).

O golo marcado a sua congénere de Cabo Verde, resultante de um auto-golo, revitalizou a esperança da claque angolana, mas cedo a situação se complicou com o empate do adversário e posterior viragem no marcador.

No CAN2012, na Guine Equatorial, Angola também não foi além da fase de grupos. A sua melhor campanha aconteceu em 2008, no Ghana, e 2010, quando organizou a prova, edições em que atingiu os quartos-de-final.
