Rwanda coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic was a disappointed man after his team crashed out of this year’s Cecafa Tusker Cup following a 2-0 loss to Tanzania on Monday.
Micho did not mince his words as he reiterated that the team did not play as planned but also criticised the Tanzanians for resorting to bad tactics like rough play that ensured his players did not give their best.
"I am very disappointed as I had hoped to go a long way in this competition but everything went against us in the quarters. Tanzania played a tactical game and completely locked my players from the game though they also resorted to some very bad rough play," Micho told supersport.com.
Asked about his future considering that the federation had hoped for better results Micho said, "We have to get back to Rwanda and do a post mortem of what could have gone wrong and then wait for decisions to be made."
