Rwanda coach shocked by loss

Rwanda coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic was lost for words when his team suffered a 2-1 loss at the hands of underdogs Zanzibar Heroes.
Micho partly blamed the soggy pitch for the defeat but also acknowledged that his opponents played in the same pitch intimating to the fact that they might have underrated the Heroes who stood firm to the last whistle.
However Micho was optimistic his side that played fluid football against Malawi beating them 2-0 would make a comeback when they face Eritrea.
"We had a very lengthy talk with the players after our win against Malawi promising that we would take Zanzibar seriously but we succumbed to their quick counter attack and failed to recover in time. The pitch was in a deplorable state but I will not dwell in it since our opponents also played in the same pitch."
"We have to pick the pieces quickly and go back to the drawing board by taking notes of our mistakes that will give us ample time to reflect in our next match against Eritrea which we will treat like a finals," Micho told supersport.com.
