Antelopes seek to dim Stars

South Sudan makes its debut in Cecafa Tusker Challenge Cup on Saturday when they face off with Afcon finalists Ethiopia on Saturday.

It will be the first international of the side since they became Fifa’s newest member.

They are up against an Ethiopian side that will be missing its star players for the tournament.

The two have been grouped alongisde Kenya and Uganda in a tough group.

“It's the same as taking your soldiers to war without food. How do you expect them to fight? With love or by spirit?,” said Sudan coach Zoran Dorjdevic

As for their opponents, they will have a chance to put their second string team to test as they pin up their hopes on Yared Zenabu the only player who was part of the Afcon campaign team.

The match will be staged at Namboole Stadium live on SuperSport 9 East.
