SuperSport take on DRC outfit in Confed



South African side SuperSport United will face Don Bosco from DRC in the preliminary round of the Caf Confederation Cup.

United return to continental football after a two-year absence, they last featured in the Champions League after their third consecutive league title in 2010.

They are representing South Africa in the cup competition after winning the Nedbank Cup last season, where they beat their rivals Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Pretoria side's next assignment will be against Petro de Luanda from Angola if they manage to beat Don Bosco.

Botswana's Gaborone United face neighbours Liga Muculmana from Mozambique, while their next test will be against Nigerian outfit Lobi Stars provided they go through.

Zambians Power Dynamos have been drawn against Angola's Recreativo da Caala, Gor Mahia from Kenya take on Seychelles' Anse Reunion.

The first round will have most of the African giants; Asec Mimosas (Ivory Coast), CS Sfaxien (Tunisia), Heartland (Nigeria), USM Alger (Algeria), Wydad Casablanca (Morocco) and Etoile Sahel (Tunisia).
