Blood and Gold depleted for finals
Esperance Tunis will be missing the services of two key players during the return leg of the CAF Champions League final scheduled for Saturday November 17 in Tunis.
Majdi Traoui has been declared unfit for the clash following a knee injury sustained during training session days ago, while playmaker Youssef Msakni, who underwent an appendectomy surgery last month, is yet to fully recover his game form and thus will not be fielded, coach Nabil Maaloul said in a statement on Thursday.
Sami Derbali and Ghana defender Harrison Afful will also be absent after being booked in previous games.
The Blood & Gold and title holders are favoured to carry it off after forcing the Egyptians to a 1-1 in first leg.
