Tshosane to continue coaching Botswana
Stanley Tshosane said Monday he will continue coaching shock 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers Botswana after signing a three-year contract extension.
The former army officer mocked the form book by guiding the Zebras to first place ahead of Tunisia, Malawi, Togo and Chad in the eliminators for the tournament.
Botswana restricted top-four finishers Ghana and Mali to single-goal victories at the Cup of Nations either side of a 6-1 drubbing by Guinea in Gabon.
Tshosane now turns his attention to the 2014 World Cup qualifiers with Botswana away to the Central African Republic and home to neighbours South Africa during June in a group completed by Ethiopia.
The sparsely populated diamond-rich southern Africa country received a bye into the final round of the 2013 Cup of Nations qualifying competition scheduled for September and October.
