Mancini plays down reports of Balotelli row
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini moved on Friday to play down reports of an argument with striker Mario Balotelli, saying it was "nothing special."
Photographs on Thursday showed the two men squaring up and needing to be separated by club staff.
Reports said Mancini had been incensed by a tackle Italy striker Balotelli had made on one of his teammates in training.
But at a press conference on Friday, Mancini said: "It wasn't bad things like in the newspapers.
"We were playing a game (in training) and Mario kicked his teammate and I said to him to go inside, leave the pitch.
"He said no, I (took) his shirt and pushed him out of the pitch. That was it. That is what happened. Nothing special."
