Mphela dropped for quarterfinal



South Africa coach Gordon Igesund dropped Katlego Mphela for the Africa Cup of Nations quarterfinal match against Mali on Saturday.

This was one of two changes made by the South Africa boss, who replaced the Mamelodi Sundowns striker with Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane.

The other change, which was enforced due to suspension, saw Siboniso Gaxa come in for Anele Ngcongca at right back.

Lehlohonolo Majorowas declared fit again and took his place among the substitutes.
