2010 draw live on SuperSport.com



The eyes of the world will be on South Africa on Friday from 18:00 to find out who will play whom in the 2010 Fifa World Cup, and SuperSport.com will bring you the draw live on your PC.

The draw will be conducted at 19:00 by Fifa general secretary Jerome Valcke who will be assisted by Academy Award winner Charlize Theron.

So if you are stuck somewhere without access to SuperDiski (SS4), you can still watch the draw live on SuperSport.com. If you don't have access to internet either, then you can use you mobile phone to follow the updates on our Twitter feed.

SUPERSPORT PULLS OUT ALL THE STOPS FOR 2010 DRAW

Some prime talent, including a former Miss Universe and a rugby Springbok, will be in the broadcast team bringing the 2010 World Cup draw to SuperSport viewers from Cape Town on Friday.

Michelle McLean, together with Bobby Skinstad, Thomas Mlambo, Robert Marawa and Peter Davies, will be treading the red carpet to secure exclusive interviews with some of football’s biggest names, plus a celebrity or two.

Quite apart from the draw, SuperSport will analyse the groups and fixtures, offering viewers expert insight and analysis on the coming World Cup.

On the Blitz channel (200) there are regular updates on events in and around the draw, capturing the buzz that has gripped Cape Town since the first superstars flew in earlier this week.

Pot 1 (seeds): South Africa (group A), Argentina, Brazil, England, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain

Pot 2: Australia, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Honduras, Mexico, USA, New Zealand

Pot 3: Algeria, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay

Pot 4: Denmark, France, Greece, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland

One team from each pot will be drawn into the eight opening round groups for the tournament from June 11-July 11.
