The team have now travelled to Germany where they will face their German counterparts on Saturday in a friendly match ahead of their much anticipated World Cup competition.

National Coach Serame Letsoaka says he is looking forward to a great performance by the young lads on the world stage.

“Our camp since the team’s arrival here in Germany has been swift; we’ve had a good response from the boys. We arrived here on Wednesday and trained the same day in the afternoon, we also had two training sessions on Thursday and we will have a single light session this afternoon. We do not have major injury issues apart from a slight knee injury sustained by Choppa Mboweni yesterday in training,” said Letsoaka.

The coach further said the team for the World Cup will be finalised after the match against Germany and expressed his satisfaction with the team’s progress so far.

Amajita are in Group F together with United Arab Emirates, Honduras and Hungary.
