Yakubu Aiyegbeni walks straight into the Nigeria starting eleven on his return from an eight-month injury lay-off as coach Shuaibu Amodu makes a whopping seven changes to the team that drew 2-2 against Tunisia in Abuja.

Dele Adeleye pays the price for the Tunisia showing by dropping out for Obinna Nwaneri at centre back.

Joseph Yobo keeps his place after coming through injury but midfielder John Mikel Obi has failed to recover from injured and misses out. His place is taken by Femi Ajilore, who is joined in midfield by returnee Yusuf Ayila.

But by far the biggest surprise is in left back where Elderson Echiejile has been given the nod ahead of Taye Taiwo. The other fullback position also sees Yusuf Mohammed start in place of Adefemi Olubayo.

Upfront Michael Eneramo starts at the tip of Amodu's three-pronged arrow with Osaze Odemwingie and Yakubu either side of him.

Line-up:

Enyeama, Yusuf M., Echiejile, Yobo, Nwaneri; Olofinjana, Ayila, Ajilore; Osaze, Eneramo,Yakubu
