DStv helped Wolves scout Leopards

Coach of Warri Wolves, Maurice Cooreman believes he has enough information about Sunday’s Caf Confederation Cup opponents, Black Leopards to mastermind a defeat for the South African club.

The big cats clash on Sunday afternoon at the Warri City Stadium in a first leg, third round contest with Cooreman revealing that he has studied the South Africans well enough.

“Thanks to DStv and SuperSport, we have enough information about our opponents and that will be an advantage for us. I recently saw their game against Mamelodi Sundowns and I know they are a good side,” Cooreman told SuperSport.com.

Black Leopards are currently enduring a torrid time in South Africa’s Premier Soccer League (PSL) as they currently sit three places off the bottom of the table with 24 points from 26 games.

Wolves defeated Sierra Leonian club, FC Kallon over two legs in the previous round and Cooreman believes his side can go even farther in this year’s competition.

“When I took over from (former coach, Paul) Aigbogun, I knew I was coming to join a very strong side. There are so many good players in this team and I am sure we will go very far in this competition,” he said.

The winners of the tie will face the losers from Champions League third round for a place in the group stages.
