Supreme Pillars

Kano Pillars remain leaders of the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) with superior goals difference in spite Enugu Rangers and Dolphins being on same 33 points with them.

Niger Tornadoes are the latest side to drop into the relegation zone, which still has Jigawa Golden Stars, Ocean Boys and Rising Stars.

Rising Stars 1-0 Enyimba

Captain of Rising Stars, Alaba Fadoju led by example with a 30-yard goal on the hour mark to undo six-time champions, Enyimba in Ado-Ekiti. But the result changed nothing for both sides as Enyimba remain fourth on 32 points and Rising Stars stay bottom on 21 points.

3SC 2-1 Kaduna United

In Ibadan, 3SC needed two second half goals from Thomas Adesina and Ibrahim Babalola to send their fans into wild jubilation. But Hassan Abubakar's added time goal made sure the game ended on a edgy note for the hosts, who are now on 26 points and two more than Kaduna United.

Kano Pillars 0-0 Gombe United

Gombe United put up a defensive display to ensure that Kano Pillars do not open a three-point lead over the chasing pack. Pillars have 33 points while Gombe United are on 29.

Sharks 2-0 Niger Tornadoes

As expected Sharks defeated Niger Tornadoes with ThankGod Amaefule and Gomo Onduku scoring in each half. Sharks have 30 points and are in the top half as Tornadoes are now in the bottom three with 22 points.

Wikki Tourists 1-0 Sunshine Stars

Alaba Johnson left it late to hand Wikki Tourists all points against Sunshine Stars on Saturday. The Tourists are in fifth and two points behind the leaders as Sunshine Stars drop out of the top 10.

Warri Wolves 0-0 Heartland

Wolves and Heartland fired blanks at the Warri City Stadium. Wolves and Heartland are on 29 and 28 points respectively.

Ocean Boys 0-0 Dolphins

The struggle of Ocean Boys continued as they failed to win against champions Dolphins. Ocean Boys are in the bottom two with 22 points and Dolphins are tied on 33 points with Kano Pillars and Enugu Rangers but stay in third place.

Akwa United 1-1 Enugu Rangers

Enugu Rangers were 14 minutes away from reclaiming top spot after Alhaji Gero scored on 34 minutes in his debut game. But Namso Edo saved Akwa United the blushes with a goal from the spot. Akwa United are seventh on 30 points.

Jigawa Golden Stars 1-0 Kwara United

It was John Paul's goal inside 10 minutes that gave the Golden Stars all the points against Kwara United. But Jigawa Stars remain in the bottom four with 24 points while Kwara United are just a point ahead.

Lobi Stars 2-0 ABS FC

Lobi Stars notched up their 30th point of the season with a 2-0 win over ABS FC in Katsina-Ala to climb into the top half. Moses Bunde and Seriki Audu scored the goals for Lobi. ABS drop into the bottom half with 26 points.
