Duo out of She-Polopolo clash

Flamingoes' duo of Tessy Biahwo Kesiena and Yetunde Adeboyejo has been ruled out of this weekend's decisive African Under17 qualifier against the She-Polopolo of Zambia in Abeokuta.

Biahwo got two yellow cards, one each from the return leg against Kenya in Abeokuta and the first leg of the final fixture against Zambia in Lusaka.

Adeboyejo, on the other hand, got a straight red card against Kenya in Abeokuta.

Both players left the camp at the weekend thereby leaving the coaches with 22 players to pick for the tie against the Southern Africans.

Flamingoes left for Abeokuta on Monday after their morning training exercise.

On arrival at Abeokuta, the team will be engaged in friendly matches to further prepare the girls for the game on March 24.

Flamingoes are in pole position to pick the ticket as they defeated the Zambians 2-1 in the first leg in Lusaka.

The winner of the duel will represent Africa at the Fifa Under17 Women's World Cup in Azerbaijan later in the year.
