Akpalas brace lifts Club Brugge



Nigeria striker, Joseph Akpala bagged a double for Club Brugge on Matchday 29 of the Belgian Jupiler League as his team defeated Cercle Brugge 2-1 on Sunday .

Club Brugge came from a goal down to defeat Cercle Brugge 2-1 at the Jan Breydelstadion in an exciting game that brought out the best in the Nigerian striker.

The Nigerian scored in the 38th and 58th minutes as Club Brugge claimed maximum points against their city rivals.

SuperSport.com can report that Akpala has been in great form all season for Club Brugge and Sunday’s performance by the Nigerian underlines his status as one of the club’s most prolific marksmen this season.

Akpala has played 5 times for the Nigeria National team scoring once.
