4.5 milhões de bilhetes solicitados para o Mundial de 2014



A FIFA, recebeu pedidos para mais de 4,5 milhões de ingressos para o Campeonato do Mundo de 2014 no Brasil, um “total impressionante”, uma semana antes da primeira fase das vendas terminar.

O director de marketing da FIFA Thierry Weil elogiou a alta demanda de bilhetes para o primeiro Campeonato do Mundo no Brasil desde 1950.

"Este total impressionante sublinha até agora o extraordinário nível de interesse", disse Weil.

Os brasileiros fizeram 77 por cento dos pedidos, para cerca de 3,4 milhões de bilhetes. Os argentinos solicitaram 223 686 bilhetes e os norte-americanos querem 175 122.

A FIFA disse que as pessoas de mais de 200 países têm procurado bilhetes.

Os organizadores esperam que um total de quase 3,3 milhões de bilhetes estejam disponíveis para a competição no Brasil, mas apenas cerca de 1 milhão estarão disponíveis na primeira fase de vendas.
