ES Setif win Algeria league

ES Setif were able to retain the Algeria league title on Tuesday after they forced CABB Arreridj to a goalless draw in the 29th Match Day of the country’s top division.

The Black Eagles are winning their sixth title after their successes in 1968, 1987, 2007, 2009 and 2012.

Setif are six points clear of their rival USM Harrach, who failed to carry off a vital home win on Tuesday, and earlier fell to Setif 1-0 in the 28th round.

The final match day comes up next weekend.
