Tunisia picks Qatar for Afcon camp
Tunisia football federation announced on Thursday that its national team would be carrying out preparations for the forthcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Qatar.
The Eagles of Carthage will spend 12 days in Doha fine tuning for the tournament and will play three friendly matches, probably against DR Congo, Mali and Burkina Faso, according to the FA.
The delegation will fly to Rustenburg, South Africa on January 15, where the Group D, composed of Ivory Coast, Algeria, Togo and Tunisia, will be based during the preliminary stage of the competition.
Tunisia will play an international friendly match against Switzerland on November 14 at the Sousse Olympic Stadium.
Coach Sami Trabeslsi has named a 22-man roster for the meeting.
