Lions' lean on veterans
Senegal coach Joseph Koto on Friday published his roster for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Ivory Coast, set for September 8 in Abidjan.
Most of the veterans from the 2012 Afcon squad return to the team after they were ignored for a while as the football federation attempted to rejuvenate the outfit following Senegal’s shocking debacle at the Gabon / Equatorial Guinea 2012.
Demba Ba, Moussa Sow, Issiar Dia, Abdoul Kader Mangane figure on the list.
The Teranga Lions will open camp on September 2 in Dakar, where the set up will carry out preparations before travelling to Ivory Coast on September 6.
