Romaric off to Zaragoza
Ivory Coast international Christian Koffi Ndri, popularly known as Romaric, has left FC Sevilla for Real Zaragoza, signing a two-year contract that will keep him in the Spanish La Liga.
The 29-year-old midfielder joined the Sevillistas from French side Le Mans in 2008 and was loaned out to Espanyol last season, where he played 28 games and scored three goals.
Romaric, who was groomed at Ivory Coast’s famous football academy Mimosifcom, will renew collaborations with Zaragoza’s new coach Manuel Jimenez, who signed the Ivorian from Le Mans.
Ivory Coast will host regional rivals Senegal in September during the last qualifying phase of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
The return leg will hold in Dakar mid October and will certainly determine which of the two teams will make it to the South Africa 2013.
