Lions name squad for Egypt



Senegal national team new caretaker Joseph Koto has published a list of 29 players called up for the friendly match against Egypt billed for Marrakech, Morocco on May 24.

Reserve goalkeepers Khadim Ndiaye and Ousmane Mané and defender Ass Madaw Sy are the only local players on the roster while the others are professionals.

Both sides will be using the encounter to build up to the upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Senegal will play host to Liberia on June 2 in Dakar before facing Uganda a week later in Group J second games.

Egypt are drawn in Group G against Guinea, Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
