Angina-hit Msakni set to face Togo

Tunisia's attacking midfielder Youssef Msakni is expected to line up for Wednesday's winners-takes-all Africa Cup of Nations Group D tie against Togo despite suffering from angina.

Tunisia coach Samir Trabelsi told a press conference here Tuesday: "All the team are fine, except Msakni, who had quite a strong case of angina.

"He trained alone with the doctor when we arrived here (Sunday). For Monday's session he trained with a group of injured players.

"But today he is going to take part in normal training – I'm not worried about him."

The Qatar-based star of the Tunisian team scored the last-minute goal that gave his country a 1-0 victory over Algeria to put them in the running to progress to the quarterfinals.

That win was followed by the 3-0 loss to Ivory Coast, leaving Tunisia on three points, level with Togo.

The Togolese boast a better goal difference, meaning they require only a draw, while Tunisia must win to go through as runners-up to Group D winners Ivory Coast.
