Taoussi proud despite ouster

Morocco head coach Rachid Taoussi has reported that this team did not deserve to leave Afcon at the group stage.

”We don’t deserve to leave the tournament. We deserved to go on with our performance but we were not lucky against South Africa” Rachid said after the match.

”Even though we lost our goal at this tournament but we now have very good team with young players and that will help us later to be the champions of Africa again,” he added.

“ I am proud of my players , We earned three points in a tough group and I think that is not too bad. We will now start preparing for the next Afcon”.
