Chipolopolo relaxed ahead of kick off



The superstars of the reigning kings of African football are relaxed, less than 24 hours before the 29th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations finals gets underway.

Hosts South Africa take on tournament debutants Cape Verde at the National Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday before Zambia takes to the pitch against Ethiopia on Monday at the Mbombela Stadium.

The Ethiopians are appearing at their first finals in over 30 years.

Fazfootball.com brings you some images of the relaxed Chipolopolo who took the morning off to relax around the hotel pool before proceeding to do their tournament accreditations. The squad later drove off into the city to stretch their legs and 'sight see'.

They will train this evening before winding up their preparations with another session on Sunday when top defender Stoppila Sunzu is expected to join the squad from England where he travelled for assessment at Barclays Premiership side Reading FC.
