Psychological problems haunt Tunisia

Tunisian player Aymen Abdennour has revealed that his team has Psychological problems before the start of Afcon next week.

He made the announcement after Tunisia lost their friendly match to Ghana 2-4 at their camp in Abu Dhabi.

”We played the first half very well but in the second half we lost our composure and fell apart” Abdennour told supersport.com.

” Let me say that our team has Psychological problems and many of our players are mentally drained, and I hope we can fix this before the tournament”.

Sami Trabelsi had expressed similar thoughts after their friendly match against Gabon and assured their fans that they can’t play Afcon in this form.

The Carthage Eagles will play in group D along side Algeria, Ivory Coast and Togo. Their first match will be against Algeria on January 22 at the Royal Bafokeng stadium.
