3. Who will be a leading goalscorer and why?
Benni McCarthy answered:
Too much big expectations and in my opinion, they thought with having big name players in their squad, that will win them games

I think they've been very impressive and very exciting to watch as well for good footballing motives,I hope they can go as far as the semi-finals or even the finals because they promised a lot of goals

I think if Angola can go as far as the semi-finals, then Manucho will be top goal scorer becasue he's got a good eye for goal

Dr SHADARI asked:
I was watching Mamadou Gaye on SS4 just before the first Afcon game,& he was praising your achievements as a player & being the succefull player that Bafana Bafana & South Africa has so far.But he also spoke about the mistake & ungratefullness that the technical staff of Bafana Bafana are making not only to not recognise everything that you have done for that team, but also not selecting you in the current Bafana Bafana team who doen''t have a more reliable striker. How do you feel about that & about not playing for your country in the latest world cup whilst every body deep inside themself they know that your contribution should made a big difference?
Benni McCarthy answered:
For a player that achieved big things in his career, it was very difficult for me but I believe the players that played proved themselves. It was a hard pill to swallw but I respect the decision of the selectors
chocious asked:
Wud u b surprised if zambia beat ivory coast?
Benni McCarthy answered:
I would not be suprised .In as much as I rate the Ivoriens very highly at thiis tournament., Zambia look capable of beating anybody with the way they have played

The hardest part is being away from your family and most important the facilities that some unfortunate parts in Africa has to offer
Profesolly asked:
Ben, do you think the format for Afcons qualifications are Ok? Cause, Teams like Botswana and Niger did not deserve the places at the Afcons. Teams like bafana and Egypt would have performed better.

Yes I think the format is fine.It can improve slightly for the better but credit to teams like Niger and Botswana qualified fair and square.
Egypt, South Afria, Nigeria and Cameroon failed to qualify because they were not competitive. You can't live on past glory
Lizo asked:

KULANI MAFUYEKA asked:
IS BENNI BACK BECAUSE HE WANTED TO COME HOME OR IS BECAUSE HE WAS STRUGLING TO GET A CONTRACT ATBARCLAYS PREMIER LIG?
