Pirates sign Mbesuma

Double treble champions Orlando Pirates have secured the signature of Zambian international Collins Mbesuma, the club has announced.

The burly striker who has joined the Mighty Buccaneers on a three-year contract, was introduced to the media at Rand Stadium on Thursday.

Chairman Dr Irvin Khoza promised after unveiling the likes of Onyekachi Okonkwo and Patrick Phungawyo in August, that the club would make two more signings before closing the cheque book, and they've done just that with the signing of Takesure Chinyama and now Mbesuma.

The arrivals of Chinyama and Mbesuma will add the needed firepower up front in a season where the Buccaneers will contest every competition possible, including the African Champions League.
