Dikwena add more players

Platinum Stars have added three more signings to their squad, taking to 11 the number of new faces at Dikwena ahead of the new season.

Having already confirmed the captures of Benson Mhlongo, Patrick Malokase, Thabani Mthembu, Mogakolodi Ngele, Bongani Nyathi, Obert Moyo and Joshua Sauls, the club added three more names to their roster on Tuesday.

Former SuperSport United defender Tshepo Gumede will add to the defensive options of coach Cavin Johnson, as will ex-Black Leopards fullback Tinstswelo Tshabalala.

Roger Majafa, a midfielder who turned out for Mpumalanga Black Aces last season, has also been added to the team.

And the club have also made the decision to promote 18-year-old right-back Michael Mabule to the first team as cover for veteran Vuyo Mere.

General manager Jason Raine confirmed that two more players will be signed in the coming days, though he would not disclose names as the paperwork for their moves have not been completed yet.
