Four PSL clubs for warm-up tourney
Four leading Premier Soccer League clubs will participate in the Gauteng Challenge at Atteridgeville later this month.
Bidvest Wits, Kaizer Chiefs, Moroka Swallows and SuperSport United will use the opportunity to unveil their new signings and get in some much needed practice before the start of the new season.
SuperSport, who have won three of the last five league titles, host Wits in the opening game at 10am, followed by the meeting between Chiefs and Swallows in the second semifinal at 12pm.
The final is at 5pm and all the action will be screened on SuperSport 4.
All four clubs have been active in the transfer market while Chiefs and Swallows have new coaches in Stuart Baxter and Zeca Marques.
The Gauteng Challenge is one of several pre-season tournaments arranged to get teams prepared for the new season, which starts on the first weekend of August.
