Chansa blow for Pirates



Orlando Pirates' chances of beating Free State Stars dealt a massive blow following the news that utility midfielder Isaac Chansa will miss Wednesday night's match at Orlando Stadium due to an injury, the club said on their website.

The Zambian International complained of a mild pain on his right leg after Monday Bucs’ Reserve league match against SuperSport United, and according to the club medical team, he will miss tomorrows’ match.

Meanwhile, Portuguese International Luis Boa Morte returned to training yesterday morning, and has joined defender Happy Jele in the rehabilitation ward.

Full back Bheki Nzunga has also fully recovered from a bout of flu, and has been included in the 18 men squad that is currently in camp ahead of todays’ all important league match against Stars.

Orlando Pirates is currently seating in third position with 37 points, and a win could see the team progress to second position which is currently occupied by Moroka Swallows with the same number of points.

The two teams will lock horns at Orlando Stadium at 19.30.
