Doutie joins SuperSport
Former Orlando Pirates winger Sameehg Doutie has joined SuperSport United after few months with the league champions, the Premier Soccer League confirmed on transfer deadline.
Doutie joined Pirates from Ajax Cape Town at the beginning of the current season. However, he found it difficult to break into the first team of the star-studded Pirates outfit.
The U23 international, who was one of the star performers at the CAF U23 African Olympics qualifiers in Morocco recently, will play the second half of the season in SuperSport colours.
His deal was just been concluded at the PSL headquarters in Parktown, Johannesburg this afternoon. He joins the likes of Mabhudi Khenyeza and Franklyn Cale who signed for the Pretoria-based outfit earlier.
SuperSport are currently second on the Absa Premiership log – trailing neighbours, Mamelodi Sundowns by three points.
Earlier today, Pirates signed SuperSport’s Thandani Ntshumayelo.
Veteran defender, Siphiwe Mkhonza joined Black Leopards from Durban side, AmaZulu.
AmaZulu, on the other side, signed Siyabonga Thwala from Durban Warriors. Usuthu have also signed Tseko Lekata.
