responsible for the planning, successful execution and follow up for a

This Is What You’ll Be
Getting Up To
Aside from hanging out with the coolest kids in the digital realm;
you’ll also have a wide range of very important responsibilities.
Campaign Planning
& Execution
Flex your creative muscle by conceptualising and managing a number of
customer retention campaigns across all DStv Online brands. This
includes idea generation and exploration, preparation and presentation
of proposals, overseeing the creative and production processes and
championing successful execution.
Campaign Analysis
You’ll have to keep tabs on all of your campaigns by analysing the
results and using what you learn to power forward.
Special Projects
You’ll be participating in a variety of special projects including
process improvements, new retention categories and joint projects with
Customer Service.
Customer Focus
Working with Marketing and the Product Managers, you’ll be developing
and maintaining a customer-focused attitude toward activities;
concentrating on those that contribute towards improving customer
lifetime value.
Social Media
Working with the Marketing Manager and Social Media Co-ordinator,
you’ll have to plan and monitor social media campaigns for our
customers. This includes co-ordinating campaigns throughout the
MultiChoice business.

Do You Check All The
Boxes?
Do you have the required pieces of paper? These would be:
- A matric
- Relevant marketing degree or diploma
You should also have experience in the following areas:
- At least 5 years working in a digital role with strength in
direct marketing, preferably with experience in both acquisition and
retention marketing
- CRM experience
- Marketing experience in mobile
- Marketing and campaign management experience
- An understanding of and experience in Pan-African marketing
and the South African media industry
- CRM experience and knowledge of CRM systems
- Team management skills and experience an advantage
- Incredible customer service orientation

- Self-starter
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good negotiation skills
- Ability to develop and maintain strong 3rd party

- Ability to maintain your cool under pressure in order to
reach set deadlines
- Ability to laugh at yourself from time to time
- Strong analytical, technical and mathematical abilities –
and no, we don’t mean being able to use a calculator
