Medscheme's Brown wins Tour De Delhi

Team Medscheme took part in the 98km Tour de Delhi this past Sunday and proved that they are once again, up to racing at international level. Arran Brown claimed victory with team member, Malcolm Lange taking second position.

The Tour de Delhi was the first event of its kind in the Indian capital city with professional teams from around the globe participating. “Arran and I were part of a four-man group to finish the race together with Maint Berkenbosch (Dutch National Team) and Kevin Maene (Belgian National Team) taking third and fourth respectively,” says Lange.

The race was staged as a test event for the Commonwealth Games road race, which will be held in October where strong national teams will take part such as Australia, Great Britain and Canada.

Back at home, this coming Sunday Team Medscheme will take part in the 90km Dome2Dome Cycling Spectacular which will see the cyclists race on the outskirts of the West Rand, the team consisting of Arran Brown, Hanco Kachelhoffer, Neil MacDonald, Waylon Woolcock, Johann Rabie, Luthando Kaka and Nic White.

Follow the team on Twitter @team_medscheme and at www.teammedscheme.co.za for all race updates.
