Impey wins second stage of Tour of Basque Country



South African Daryl Impey, riding for the GreenEdge team, won the second stage of the Tour of the Basque Country on Tuesday.

Impey beat home Australian teammate Allan Davis and Italian Sky rider Davide Appolonio at the end of the 165.7km run between Guenes and Vitoria-Gasteiz.

Spanish cycling champion Jose Joaquin Rojas, who won the first stage, retained the lead in the overall standings.
