Schleck abandons San Sebastian Classic



Tour de France runner-up Andy Schleck dropped out of the San Sebastian Classic midway through the one-day event, the official website reported on Saturday.

The Luxemberg rider pulled out after 120 km of of the 234 km event. The website reported that no reason was specified.

Schleck was the runner-up in the Tour de France behind Spain's Alberto Contador in 2009 and last weekend.
