Sehwag, Pujara make it India's day
An unbeaten 98 from Cheteshwar Pujara helped India reach stumps on 323 for four on the first day of their first test against England in Ahmedabad on Thursday.
Puajara will continue in the morning with Yuvraj Singh, who has 14.
Graeme Swann added to his tally when he ripped one back from off to find a huge gap and Virat Kohli's off stump.
Earlier, Swann took three wickets to reduce India to 250 for three at tea.
Swann made the first breakthrough with the score on 134, sliding one into Gautam Gambhir (45) who tried to play through the off side and was beaten as it skids through to take off stump.
Virender Sehwag and Pujara then combined for 90 runs, before the former missed a ball that turned sharply in from outside off to smash into his off stump for 117.

Sachin Tendulkar lost his wicket soon after for another low score (13), minutes before the tea interval, as he didn't quite get to the pitch of the ball to loft it into Samit Patel's waiting hands at mid-wicket.
India eased through to lunch on 120 without loss after winning the toss as England's bowlers showed no patience on a dead track with no bounce.
Sehwag played well on a slow wicket, unbeaten on 79 off only 66 deliveries, and Gautam Gambhir - in comparison - had 37 (off 103).
The pitch was relayed earlier in July this year, and everyone was eager to see how it would hold up.
India have left out Suresh Raina and welcome back Yuvraj Singh.
Nick Compton made his debut for England while Tim Bresnan is included at the expense of Steven Finn.
They have also opted to included only one spinner, Graeme Swann, and Monty Panesar is therefore left on the bench.
