India beat Sri Lanka in warm-up match



Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni hit an unbeaten 55 and Irfan Pathan picked up five wickets to propel India to a 26-run win against host Sri Lanka in a World Twenty20 warm-up match on Saturday.

Dhoni struck three sixes and four boundaries in his 42-ball innings to take India to 146 for five in 20 overs after being put in a precarious position, losing five wickets for 51. He together with Rohit Sharma shared 78 runs for the fifth wicket at P Sara Oval. Sharma made 37 and seamer Nuwan Kulasekara returned the best bowling figures for Sri Lanka at 2-39.

Sri Lanka were dismissed for 120 in their chase. Pathan returned 5-25 in his four overs.
