Dane Vilas achieved a world best wicket-keeping performance when he played an innings of more than 150 and completed 10 dismissals behind the stumps when the Nashua Mobile Cape Cobras overwhelmed the Chevrolet Knights by an innings and 54 runs in their SuperSport Series match in Kimberley.

The Nashua Titans were crowned SuperSport Series champions in February, after they crushed the Sunfoil Dolphins by an innings and 325 runs - the largest victory margin in SA domestic cricket since the advent of franchise cricket.

Chris Gayle was signed to play in the MiWayT20 Challenge for the Sunfoil Dolphins, but his participation was thrown into doubt after he picked up a groin injury while playing in the Bangladesh Premier League in February. Gayle subesquently left the Dolphins and took no part in the competition.

She was hailed for her commitment to cricket over the past 32 years, her unwavering dedication and the efficient way she fulfilled her role as CEO, beyond the boundaries of duty.

History were made when Cricket South Africa held its first day/night match under first-class conditions in Potchefstroom, between the North West Dragons and the Chevrolet Knights in a pre-season friendly. The players wore their normal first-class kit (white or cream) but played with the new improved, Kookaburra Turf Pink Balls and used black sightscreens.

Stephen Cook compiled 125 off 122 balls to help the bizhub Highveld Lions post a formidable 329 for six against the Nashua Titans in Centurion in the opening match of the Momentum One Day Cup in November, before Hardus Viljoen (featured) returned figures of 6-19 to help dismiss the hosts for 60 in 18.5 overs -- their lowest ever in limited overs cricket.

The return clash in the Momentum One Day Cup between the bizhub Highveld Lions and the Nashua Titans saw two maiden one day centuries. Farhaan Behardien (featured) compiled a superb 102 off 116 balls with 10 fours and two sixes. Quinton de Kock then hammered no fewer than four sixes and 12 fours in an 83-ball blitz that yielded 115 runs to lead the home side to a bonus-point win.

A phenomenal 166 from 139 deliveries from Henry Davids was enough for the Nashua Titans to beat the Chevrolet Knights by five runs in their Momentum One Day Cup match in Kimberley. He struck 15 fours and five sixes during his knock.

A fantastic century from Richard Levi set up victory for the Nashua Mobile Cape Cobras over the Nashua Titans by 111 runs in their Momentum One Day Cup match in Paarl. Levi played a typically aggressive, yet mature innings of 166 off 138 balls, which included 12 fours and six sixes.

For the first time in the history of franchise cricket, the domestic one-day trophy - this year the Momentum One Day Cup - was shared between the bizhub Highveld Lions and Nashua Mobile Cape Cobras, as both the final and the reserve day were rained out.
