Match abandoned at Edgbaston
Rain has washed out the third one-day international between England and Australia at Edgbaston.
Play was due to start at 3pm CAT (SA, GMT+2), but heavy rainfall in the Birmingham area made play impossible and the match was officially abandoned at 7:10pm.
England now cannot unseat Australia as the top-ranked ODI side during this five-match series.
The hosts lead 2-0 and a 5-0 series win would have seen them replace Australia at the top of the ICC world rankings.
The series resumes on Saturday with the fourth ODI at Chester-le-Street.
