SuperSport apps

The world's best multi-sport app experience

The all-new supersport.com app really does take your experience of sport to a level never seen until now.

It is all about enhancing your enjoyment of what SuperSport has to offer, and making sure that we deliver to you - some of the world's most passionate fans - the perfect accompaniment: the only sports app you'll ever need.

What makes it so special? Well, it is a multi-sport app the like of which has never been released before. It has, among other things:
  • a huge focus on live sport, so you know exactly what is going on the moment you open it up
  • great depth - just click on the match you are interested in and discover everything behind the scoreline
  • live video streaming - DStv premium subscribers with an active PVR get to watch all their favourite sports live, and for free! Just make sure you are signed up with DStv Connect.
  • video highlights - video highlights for most events, and in-game clips for tournaments and seasons like the Barclays Premier League, the Rugby Championship and Proteas matches. These are available to everyone.
  • filtering - just tell the app which sports you'd like to view and which you'd rather hide
  • news - all the latest reading from around the world
  • your say - leave your comments, chat with others as you follow your favourite sports
There is so much more, so go to the App Store on your iOS/Android tablet or smartphone and download it now. And yes, it's for free! All links are further down the page.

A bit more about it:

In this image below, you can see the default landing page displaying the current live sport and also what is coming up. The red (live) and blue (highlights) play buttons on each match block indicate what video is available. Click on the blocks themselves and open up full scorecards and, with the major rugby and football, access to granular content such as live commentary, stats, line-ups and more.

Absolutely. As long as you are a DStv Premium subscriber with an active PVR, and are registered with DStv Connect, you'll be able to watch most of the big games available on SuperSport. Watch one match on the telly, and follow another on your tablet/smartphone, or take it with you to a function and stay in touch.

In the screen shot below, you'll see how the red buttons indicate watch on now, with the blues letting you know what is coming up. Also, if English football is your thing, you can watch the goals from every game taking place just minutes after they have been scored. Watch one on TV, and see every other goal on the day on your tablet/smartphone.

Oh, and anyone can watch the video highlights - not just subscribers...

Oh we haven't. All the latest stories and reports from around the world, with specific news content as you dig deeper into each sport and its various categories. There are also fixtures, results and logs in each sports section, so go exploring and discover how useful the app is.

Great, all you need to do pop into your App Store and download the updated version of the supersport.com application:
