Capetonian killed in Everest crash
Capetonian Jeremy Taylor, 31, was to fulfill a lifelong dream to climb Mount Everest, before a fatal aircrash near the mountain claimed his and 13 other's lives.
The private Agni Air passenger plane went down near Shikharpur village about 80km south of Kathmandu, police spokesperson Ram Bahadur Shrestha said.
The Taylor family, of Vredehoek, was too traumatised to speak to the media.
But Sonja Barlow, who spoke on behalf of the family to IOL, said: "They are dealing with their grief as well as they can. It's difficult for the family."
She said thy were waiting for information from Nepal.
