Brawlers won't meet in the ring

David Haye and Dereck Chisora are unlikely to ever square up in an official boxing match.

Haye's trainer insisted in London on Tuesday that the former heavyweight champion was not interested in a bout against Chisora, with whom he was involved in a brawl in Germany last weekend.

Haye and Chisora now face an uncertain future while British boxing authorities consider disciplinary action after the violent confrontation during a post-fight media conference in Munich.

Chisora had lost to WBC champion Vitali Klitschko before the two British fighters became involved in an ugly scene.

Their brawl triggered speculation about a possible grudge match between the two but Haye's trainer, Adam Booth, says his fighter is not planning to come out of retirement.

"David is still retired, he has no plans to fight again," Booth told Radio Five Live.

"He's always said the only people he would come out (of retirement) to fight is one of the Klitschko brothers. What happened on Saturday night doesn't change that one bit."

Police in Germany want to question Haye over his role in the fracas, which left Booth nursing a nasty cut on his head. Chisora has accused Haye of striking him with a bottle.
