Semenya returns to Berlin for ISTAF meet

Caster Semenya will run at Berlin's ISTAF meet next month, one year after winning the 800m world title in the same Olympic stadium, organisers said on Friday.

The 2009 final on August 19 was her last race as she became involved in a gender controversy and was not cleared to race again by the ruling body IAAF until July 6.

Semenya, 19, returned to the track at a small Finnish meet last week but is currently far from her form of last year.

The 2010 ISTAF meet is set for August 22.
