Spanish federation re-elects Odriozola
The Spanish athletics federation has re-elected Jose Maria Odriozola as its president for a seventh consecutive term.
The 73-year-old Odriozola has headed the federation since 1989. The new three-year term runs until 2016.
Odriozola won despite growing criticism from Spanish athletes after the national athletics team only won one medal at each of the past two Olympics in London this year and Beijing in 2008.
He beat rival candidate Vicente Ano by 96 votes to 44 on Sunday.
