Wariner, Gay to run at Adidas Grand Prix



Olympic gold medalist Jeremy Wariner and world champion Tyson Gay will run at the Adidas Grand Prix in New York in June.

High jumper Blanka Vlasic, the 2010 IAAF Female Athlete of the Year, will make her US debut at the June 11 meet. The Croatian is a four-time world champion and 2008 Olympic silver medalist.

Jessica Ennis, the heptathlon world champion from Britain, will also compete.

Wariner won gold in the 400 metres at the 2004 Olympics and silver in 2008 for the United States. Gay is the American record holder in the 100 metres and looking to prove he can compete with Usain Bolt this season heading into the 2012 Games.
