USADA suspends US sprinter Jelks

American sprinter Mark Jelks was slapped with a two-year suspension for violating anti-doping rules which oversee how out-of-competition tests are conducted.

The United States Anti-doping Agency said on Monday the 26-year-old Jelks missed one test and also failed two times to let the agency know of his whereabouts during an 18-month period.

Jelks's suspension began August 23.
